Railing Systems
Securetech railings typically utilize welded pipe construction or modular assembly with fittings that bolt together. Both are highly effective in creating a safe protection barrier for pedestrian use with low maintenance.
Our standard pipe railings are made smooth to provide a continuous gripping surface along their entire length. These pipes are made of steel and are often painted, or powder coated to provide a visual cue. Although styles and designs may vary, railings consist of a framework of horizontal rails and vertical uprights or posts.
Pipe rails are used for pedestrian walkways, along roadways, bicycle paths, bridges, and steep declines. Securetech can custom fabricate and install specific railings that meet key codes and requirements including ADA.
ADA handrail is designed and fabricated to comply with the requirements as set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Welded Steel - This type of railing is fabricated in our welding shop to fit your exact specifications. Typically made from pipe, galvanized or mild tube steel into various designs and finished with either primer, paint, galvanize or powder coated.
- Modular - This type of railing system can be made utilizing special component fittings that bolt together to either galvanized, aluminum, and colored finish pipe. Typically, schedule 40 galvanized pipe is preferred. No welding is needed for this application.
